99 5.9 v8 No Spark
99 ram 2500 5.9 v8. No spark, so here's what I've done. I have replaced cam sensor, crank sensor, swapped distributors with my running 99, changed cap and rotor while I was in there, wires too, new coil, new tps, new intake air temperature sensor, I have cleaned all grounds, chassis ground was grounded to the bumper support by the previous owner when a lift was installed, so I moved it onto one of the power steering box bolts. I cleaned all connectors in the engine bay and used dielectric grease. I have no voltage to the coil, and no ground, although I do have fuel pressure, injectors are working and it cranks over fine. I also swapped the pcm on the fire wall with my running 99. I am at a loss, have checked all fuses, not just visually, but also with a volt ohm for continuity. I bought the truck with no spark for a deal I could not resist. But I am at a loss. Have a decent understanding of these trucks (on my 5th one) and appreciate detailed description on how to's and how it works. Alternator checks out, so does the coil on the multimeter. Throwing codes since I bought it, for idle air control valve, which I am replacing tomorrow, the tps which I've rplaced, the coolant temp sensor, the Air intake temp sensor which I've replaced and the ambient battery temps sensor which i have replaced.. At a complete loss, please help.
When you swapped the distributor, unless you installed the replacement distributor in the exact location/orientation as the old unit, its likely that you have thrown off the fuel sync. You can reset it, if you have access to a quality scanner, such as a SnapOn MT2500. Also, check the ASD relay to ensure its working properly or swap it out with a new one.
You only get power at the coil for about three seconds after key on, unless the PCM sees the engine cranking.
If you have power at the injectors, but, not at the coil, trace the power feed for the coil back to the splice where it gets power from the ASD relay. (as do the injectors.)

I had a friend cycle the key when I tested the supply wire.I also tested for ground signal while cranking. This was all back probed. I brought the motor to tdc before swapping distributor. Made sure it was at tdc when reinstalling. I have also tried jumping the asd Normally open cantact if that's the right one to jump? I had this issue on my 95 5.9 and never solved it.
