I have a 1997 dodge ram 1500 4x4 5.9 360 it's got a 3 inch body lift with a 6 inch suspension lift with 37 inch grip tires on 17 inch rims and it's a standard transmission I broke my front yoke on my rear drive shaft and I need to find out what kind of Manuel transmission I might have

Welcome to DF.

You likely have a NV4500 trans, since you have the 5.9.... however, the rear driveshaft plugs into the transfer case, which, on a half ton, will be an NV231D (or possibly DHD)

Not that it really matters, I do believe that all of them have the same output shaft size, and spline count, except maybe the diesel trucks, or V-10s.... Have you tried local junkyards, see if you can just get the whole driveshaft?
