Slips in all gears or only OD?

You could try replacing the OD solenoid first, if that does not work, it may be rebuild time.

When is the last time you did a trans service? Adjusted the bands?

I don't think the trans was ever serviced and it slips in all gears

Start with the trans service/band adjustment then. May not hurt to change the electronics in the trans as well.....

I just found out that on 02/09/16 The transmission was serviced, the governor sensor was replaced, the governor solenoid was replaced and a trans filter set was put it. The light is still on after I changed the transmission fluid and reset the trucks computer. Not sure what else to do.

Did they adjust the bands when they did the service? (it should be specifically mentioned on the receipt, if they did.)

Everything in the listed on the reciet is what they did. It doesn't say anything about the bands.

That implies they did not...... You can get at one of them without dropping the pan. Might check that one, and see how far out of spec it is, and take it from there.....
