I added 2 flush mounted LEDs in my bumper (18W Each) and i ran the wiring harness i got for it with a 40A relay and a 30A inline fuse, grounded everything correctly and added the positive for the switch and the lights directly to the battery. Now i have no power to my radio, i checked the fuse and its still good also the switch for the lights does not light up like its supposed to. any ideas? i HATE not having a radio
thanks for the quick response. Yep everything seems to work like normal i have checked every relevant fuse in the cab and they are all good

Wonder if there is a fuse behind it that blew......
Might wanna crawl under the dash, and see if anything is obvious, if not, may have to pull the radio to check.

Get the model number, and see if you can look up wiring diagrams for it. Make sure it is getting power where it thinks it should be. There *should* be two wires for power. One to maintain memory, clock, etc, (always hot) and one for driving it when it is actually doing something. (hot with ignition on.)
now i pulled out the radio the lights stopped working. the wiring harness i got was made by the same company as the lights but i did have to extend it to put the relay and fuse in the engine bay instead of under the bed. i used a different gauge wire to extend it could that be causing it?
