I have an 01. And what's the caster angle. Instead of doing that I just decided to go from 3" to 4 or 5" and not bulldog it but instead of buying a professional kit for 800 would anyone know where I can just get the rear spacers and new u bolts for rear and new springs and control arms for the front for a decent price? I've got the sway bar drop down brackets that I was gonna put in but these 3" lifted coils didn't do what they were supposed to and I wasted $200 on em

Going over three inches of lift, you need to address the control arms, and track bar, to keep the front axle centered in the front of the truck, and in the wheel wells. Just adding the lift will make it dangerous to drive. I am also not a fan of stacking blocks in the rear, even though multiple companies offer kits that do exactly that. I have been taught for decades that stacking blocks is just a bad idea.
Instead of just piecing it together, you are MUCH better off actually spending the money, and getting a kit, that has been engineered to work properly. Unless you have a VERY good idea of what you are doing, a kit is the ONLY way you should go.
Caster angle is the angle between a vertical line, and a line that goes thru the center of both ball joints. Caster is what cause your trucks steering to want to self center. Also helps it want to keep going straight down the road. Inadequate caster can make the truck rather challenging to drive.......
