defiantly 4.56 gears with 33s, at 60 mph you'll be at 1900 rpm in O.D which is perfect..

Alright you guys talked me into it; 4.56 gears it is! But not till next year. I will definitely be doing the regear before I step up to 35s.

If you are going to go to 35" tires then you need to go deeper than 4.56 gears.
Here is the best gear calculator I've found. http://www.grimmjeeper.com/gears.html
Use the pull down menu to find your tranny and transfer case and then put in tire size and gear ratio.

I missed that part were you said your eventually going to 35s..in that case, id go 4.88 gears, and I think that as steep as you can go with a Chrysler 9.25...

With 4.56 gears at 75 mph I'd be humming at a little over 2200rpm with 35s. That's right about where I'd like it to be. I think 4.88s would be screaming a little much. I don't need a speed demon; just not a turd with these 3.55 gears. Wouldn't be so bad if these trucks were making 400+ hp. My Pontiac will roast tires all day with the 3.23 gears on there but not so much with these trucks.

4.88 gears & 35" tires puts you at 2400 RPM's which would be fine for cruising down the highway. Where it really helps you out is when taking off from a stop. Also it will save your tranny trying to move those large tires. But it's your truck so do as you wish.

When I had my 35's I could cruise at 90-100, and be about 2600 rpm in my modded 318. I wouldn't worry about not having highway speed.
