What brand belt did you get?

Soap is a lubricant. The squeak is likely the belt slipping on the steel pulleys, give it a bit of lubrication, and it can slip on that instead..... So, no squeak.

lmfao all the pulleys were pretty smooth, not much resistance.. i did notice while belt is running tensioner seems to be in constant motion, not much but constantly tightening & loosing a tiny bit (this could be normal, never really paid that much attention before 2 be honest) all pumps are bolted down good & pulleys arent loose.. i dont remember where i picked that belt up from & the name has already worn off but it wasnt anything special -1 of those WHATEVER i could find right now situations. Thinking about goinng by orielys or something and see if theyll let me try out some belts, iv been reading really good things about the goodyear gatorback fixing pulley alignment issues, ext. ... this truck & i have the love hate relationship goin on again

almost looked like my harmonic dampener is spinning a cu&t hair off center from the rest of the accessory drive but after staring at things for a couple hrs looking for problems i might be seeing irrelevant stuff @ this point lol

Yeah, a good quality belt may be all you need.

Some movement of the tensioner while the engine is running is indeed normal.

well sure enough my truck just didnt like the brand of belt i had on.. couldnt find anywhere that sold the gatorbacks in my area but was @ parts store so i tried a gates & squeal disappeared!! (glad i didnt start changing parts impulsively) >> 'no bus' system shutdown happened again (truck shuts off while driving, everything freezes & gauges all flat line), thought i had it figured out but i must missed a ground or somethin, shes still doin it every once in awhile.. . when it happens you cant scan for problem at all to get it back running you have to unplug pcm closest to drivers side and as soon as you do you can hear a click sounds electric in the battery/fuse area & she goes back to running like nothing happened and wont leave any codes or lights.. goin to try & keep scanner recording for the next time she crashes.. mabe i can catch whats causing it to go down on the playback..?.
