How many O2 sensors 2000 V10
Yes, I have searched both here and online
Truck 2000 ram3500 v10
Left sensor is bad, runs like crap
I looked at the assorted suppliers, they all show a rear or downstream sensor.. along with front left and right
I cannot find the rear sensor. The 2 pipes enter the cats - the output of the cats go into 2 pipes on the muffler... I have been all over the underside of the truck, I cannot find the rear sensor?
I have looked for a picture with no luck
I guess I could call the Dodge Dealer in town.
Asking here first... since no one is in the shop
Is there one? Where?
Thanks

2 cats no Y pipe after cats
About 2 inches from cat outlet- both cats go into the muffler. I cannot find any sensors at rear of both cats nor on the muffler
No rear sensor error. Just front left
Both cats have air injection pipes going to the pump on the motor
I am going to replace both front . that way they will be matched based on age etc.
MANY part numbers and vendors. I guess Bosch or Denso?
Found better prices from other suppliers then NAPA
Suggested part number?
Thanks Heyyou for all your support

Get the Denso Sensors. Our trucks don't particularly care for the Bosch fellers. (must be because they are cheaper.
)
Digging thru the 01 service manual, I can see pics of where the rear O2 sensor is supposed to be, but, that's for the V-8 engines. The don't show any pics of where it/they are on the 8.0..... I suppose, its entirely possible that the 10 simply doesn't have any....... Which seems kinda odd.....

Heard plenty of horror stories about Bosch 02's. If you get a year or so out of them your lucky. I prefer NTK's. According to the 96 service manual(schematics) it only shows two upstream sensors for the V10(non cali).
Thanks- Moparite yep that had to be. I could not find the downstream sensor that was 'for my truck'
Also good I did not order the Bosch. Will get the Denso Thanks for the warning HY

Ordered from Amazon. Needed 'extra' items to get free ship
Denso 234-4077 Left $23
Denso 234-4076 Right $28
About the same price @ Rockauto
Hope I can get them out without the special socket :0 Forgot to order that from Amazon. Will use lots of nut buster over the next few days.
I can cut the lead wire and use a regular socket to remove and use a wrench to install the new one .. did that before on another car.
