Default harmonic balencer removal

I have a 95 dodge ram 1500 360 engine
1. my engine has the 2 piece HB (pulley bolted to HB)
2. to remove, should I unbolt the pulley from the HB and remove the pulley, then remove the HB OR remove the entire unit as one piece?

Remove the pulley first, then use the threaded holes that used to hold the pulley on, for your puller. Do NOT pry on the outer ring of the balancer, you will trash it.

tks "hey you". is it possible to remove the pulley BEFORE removing the crankshaft bolt? (it looks like it would be easier to accress the bolt with the pulley removed).

Yes, I do believe you can. I don't think the crank bolt holds the pulley at all. (note: I don't *think* so.... been a while since I played with mine. )
