Default All sorts of messed up

Alright so my 99 1500 has been Giving me some problems. my serpentine belt started slipping on my water pump/cooling fan pulley and was grinding up against the outer side of the pulley and the cooling fan was wobbling bad. I finally found out what was happening and I was at work so I was on the way home going 65 on the freeway when my belt came off and lost power steering. thank god it was right before a rest stop and I could crank it into a parking spot. I got out and radiator fluid was leaking everywhere and no sign if the belt. I did a little research and Im guessing it's something with my water pump. Any help would be much appreciated

If the water pump pulley was wobbling, that's a sure sign of a failed pump....

Welcome to DF!

If you can afford it, you may want to have a new timing chain set installed. It's under the water pump. Depends on the mileage of your truck if you need it. Something to consider anyhow, there's a lot that has to be removed to get to the water pump.

Look a the water pump. It's right behind the fan. Is it leaking?
