Default higher idle

long story short our road sorta flooded during a rain. drove through this fat puddle i didnt see in the dark, and it shot way over my truck. anyway, our house was about a mile past that and i through her in park, i was idling at 1300 rpm in park. through it back in reverse and it went back down to normal but it wasn't happy about it. i have a CAI, so its not entirely weird that i might of chugged some water into the intake. So, this just happened so shes parked now. should i let it dry off and give it another shot and see if it improves, or should i get it towed. and not risk it?

You drove it home, I would take the air piping off in case there is water trapped in it, and then start it.

Ya drove it home from there which was about a mile. So I should I take the intake piping to the cone off ? And check for water. ?

Yes, that's what I would do. Maybe disconnect battery to reset computer also. If you had choked it off in the water, I wouldn't have turned it over until you pulled the spark plugs.

So ya I started her this morning. In inspected intake and what not, no signs of residue. Motor turned over fine. Still at 1200rpm in park. Didn't seem to wanna come down from that. Will go to 800 in reverse and drive. I tried giving her some gas to warm her up a bit which it didn't mind except once Rpms dropped way down and it nearly died but gained its power back on its own. Is it maybe my tps or iac got wet or decided to die. Fuel pump and throttle body components are young. I'm stumped guys

Throttle body been cleaned? If you replaced parts, were they Mopar parts? Our trucks don't much care for some of the aftermarket stuff.

Did you try resetting the PCM?

I had to replace my aftermarket IAC, as it just couldn't do the job properly. High idle, stalling, and everything in between.
