My truck is runnin like crap but it is getting my to work everyday I'm getting about 4mpg hand have to try and keep it at 2,000 rpm or it runs like crap expecially when cruising low rpm about 45mph my whole truck shakes BAD! Also throws p0300 p006 p008 please help I cannot afford to keep tracking down this gremlin! I've owned 3 2nd gen rams so I'm quite fimiliar with the model someone please help! I'm going to replace my cam sensor tomorrow and see of that does the trick it's about the only sensor I haven't replaced.

The fleet mechanic used a timing light or some tool like that anyway he said my timing was off and that it was an ignition problem I DO HAVE SPARK to the trouble cylinders. I need input I'm stumped!

P0300 Multiple Cylinder Misfire

I am assuming the other codes are P0306 and P0308? Both misfire codes. I think you have a vac leak somewhere, That will usually set off the P0300 unless you have something else going on. Did you check the #6 & 8 injectors? Just because it has fuel at the rail doesn't mean the injector is working properly. What year truck?

Timing isn't adjustable, at all. It is controlled completely by the PCM.

When you did your head gaskets, did you at least have the heads inspected? The stock heads are notorious for cracking around the valve seats.

That's correct I forgot the '3' in p0300 etc, I have no vacuum leaks and injectors are brand new

I did not have the heads inspected or reaurfaced, the trouble cylinders have excellent compression, I know the timing isn't adjustable, I was told my timing was all over the place as in fluctuating, almost feel like I need a fuel sync

Is the miss apparent as soon as you start the truck? Or will it run smooth for a couple minutes when cold, and then start screwing up?

Two dead cylinders right next to each other is pretty suspicious......
