Is that on the transmission or the transfer case? It appears to be a linkage rod of some sort.

It's on the driver side of the transmission, if this part is broke would it cause my truck to act funny well it's in drive and what I mean by act funny is if I just start it up my truck will run fine but if I let it heat up and then put it into drive I can push the gas down and I'll get to 20mph and then if I push the pedal down a bit more it will go from 1000rpms to 2000rpms and keep doing that bogging and then if I push the pedal to the floor it will speed up but as soon as I let off the pedal and I try to put a little gas again it does that bogging

I've asked several people and they keep saying it could be my fuel pump but if I'm correct it would cause that to do that bogging all the time not just when the trucks heated up, right?

The TV cable only controls shift points. If it isn't hooked up, so far as the trans is concerned, you aren't stepping on the gas, so, shifts will be premature, and it won't downshift when you step on the gas.

If you are having bogging issues, it *might* be because the trans is in too high of a gear for the speed you are going, or, it might be a clogged up cat.... If the TV cable is not doing its job, need to fix that FIRST.
