Default Owners Manual

Anybody know where I can get a PDF version of the "owners manual" for a 1997 dodge ram?

If you cant find a PDF version you can get reprint here.

I have bought PDF and hard copy service manuals from them before.
Very happy with their service.

Go to the diy/ FAQ section in these 2nd gen forums. Scroll down through the stickies and the manuals are all in there.

Yeah I checked all the DIY/FAQ, I didn't see "Owners Manual", only parts manuals and service manuals. I don't want to pay the stealership some $30+ for a new one. I am noticing however without the manual its pretty tedious sometimes to find specs on my specific year truck on the internet so that is why I am asking.

Like I want to know what the OEM flasher relay size is supposed to be, 224 or 552. Stuff like that. And all the other nice things in the manual that I could have in my hand instead of using an internet search for everything. A PDF would suffice.

That may be your only alternative..... Most of the sites that I check, only go back to 2009 or so, some others were just 'phishing' sites, creating entries with keywords from your search, to get you to visit the site. (that has nothing to do with even anything automotive.....)

I just bought a 97 1500 next weekend I will be picking it up. I will see if it still has the owners manual. If so I will ship it to you. I did receive a service manual with it also but have no use for it.

If that works out, I will pay you for the shipping of course and the ten bucks on top of that!
