2500 brake on a 1500
I searched but could on lt find stuff for the '94-'99 single pistons calipers. I have a '00 1500 4x4 with the dual piston calipers. From what I could find, they are 54mm bore. Will the 2500 dual piston calipers bolt on and if they do will the 56mm bores make that much of a difference over the stock 54mms? As far as the rear drums go, is going to the larger GM wheel cylinder worth it on a 1500? from what I found all '00-'01 had the same 1" wheel cylinders in the rear and the '94-'99 size varied with model and year.
The 3/4 ton calipers won't fit on your truck. Considering you already have dual piston calipers, that's about as good as it gets.
Pretty sure the rear upgrade will work though.... need to verify what size cylinders you have now though.

You could go with a 1 1/16" wheel cylinder from an older dodge. Doesn't seem like much but 1/16" adds quite a bit of area to the piston. I put them on our 95 and really like them. I think the 1 3/16" cylinders would add too much rear brake unless you are carrying 1000 pounds or more in the box or towing a trailer regularly.
