Default 440 big block conversion

Hello, I have a 1998 dodge ram 1500, were going to put a 440 big block with a 727 4x4 trans, now I know alot of people say just do the V10 swap... Im sure that it is much easier, But I was raised a V8 man, why have 10 cylinders that could break when you could just have 8 haha. now that thats has been said I did see a truck that had a true viper motor in it that was awesome... any ways back on track, the reason for this swap is the trucks has been stripped or spare parts, I have a dakota and a cummins and this truck has been a doner for them both, so im going to sand blast the frame, weld some panels on the body drop in the motor and trans and build a custom dash, along with alot of other stuff, haha anyways if you guys think this is cool or you have or know of someone who has done this let me know how it went and what to watch for. a lot of you guys prolly will say hell with that just get rid of the thing, but it was actually my first vehicle

Why not stroke the 440 then put it in? There is video of a truck with a big block in it on you tube. Looks like fun!

It's gonna take some work, but, is likely doable..... if you throw enough money at it. Pics of the process would be cool.

If you are up for the work involved, go for it. Just hope you have the 440 and the other drivetrain parts needed, as going out to pick these up fresh can get costly.
