Grinding noise after 10mph
Grinding noise only after say 10 mph. Replaced: rear drum brakes, front brakes, calipers, rear differential pinion bearing, rear driveshaft u joints, transfer case, both front wheel hub bearings.
First heard the noise from the rear. Did driveshaft u joints and differential. Then it now sounds underneath the cab or front end. Replaced transfer case and still there. Other work was done just because of the age.
When I bought the truck it had a clicking noise due to the u joints on the front axles were bad. Went to the junkyard and bought whole axles with good u joints. Never had the issue again.
The noise gets louder as I accelerate and doesn't go away until under say 10 mph or so. It doesn't change when in 4 wheel or 2. Possible front driveshaft u joints or a seal for the front axles? I now have no clue what it could be.

Need to try and localize where the noise is coming from. Given that it doesn't appear until 10mph or so though, is going to make it interesting. Can you raise the rear of the truck, and run it, and get it to make the noise?
