How to mount fog lights
I want to mount two led pods and two 9in led bars on my 98 laramie 1500 bumper but there doesnt seem to be any secure place to mount them, how have people done it before. Any pictures of how it looks if anyone has done it would be great too. Thanks
No pics but, if you remove the black bumper strip off of the chrome bumper, you will see square holes for carriage bolts that would normally hold up the stock fog light assemblies. For a small light bar, I just drilled two holes on the top of the bumper, as close to the front as possible, so the hood would clear the light bar when opening.

yeah I meant in my bumper. Seems to be all plastic and no where to securely hold them in place

^^^99 and up you mean
^^^ hey you
Mine is an ST so it doesn't have the plastic inserts but where OEM lights would go, there were small slits in the steel about an inch long. I mounted driving lights to those hanging upside down. They fit great and I can remove them whenever. I also had a set mounted in the 'foot wells' or the big openings for the radiator that I use as steps. Those lights broke though. Everything wired up to a relay to a switch where power mirrors switch would go. Again, ST version.
