I'm looking for an impact torx set. Only set Ive seen so far only goes down to a t40.

Just to give an update... I tore the trans down, cleaned and inspected everything. The only hard part that I needed to replace was the overdrive piston retainer between the two case pieces.

I also started the rebuild. I got the overdrive section reassembled and plan to get some more done tomorrow.

I finished rebuilding transmission and installed transgo jr shift kit. Just need a good day to swap over and see if I did good

just wanted everyone to know that I finally got the rebuilt transmission in and everything is working great.

the old tranny had graphite for fluid but still seemed to shift fine in the three gears it had.

Yes there is an aftermarket pan with a drain plug. It is about $30 at napa and worth every penny!! What a pain that pan is.
