Default Upgraded Turn Signal Tow Mirror Issue

I ordered a set of the power heater tow mirrors with turn signal integration from 1A Auto for my 1500. It is plug and play except for the turn signal addition. I got it wired up and the turn signals work perfectly in sync with the truck turn signals, but they also light up when i step on the brake. I wired per the instructions and they do work just with a little quirk. Anyone have this happen and or know how to get rid of them lighting when braking? Thanks

FYI spliced into the green with red stripe wire for left mirror and brown with red stripe for right mirror per instructions.

I suspect you tapped into the rear lights for the turn signals on the mirrors......

The wires for the front turn signals are Light Green, from pin 16, for the left, and Tan, from pin 11, for the right.

This is in reference to the junction block under the steering wheel with the white cover correct?

The wiring colors have changed through the years. Chances are, they are correct, for SOME year.
