Default Park sensors?

Ok, I've got an 01 ram 5.9. Tranny has been replaced then rebuilt. Added a shift kit, pressure switch, trans cooler ( another one ) now when I put it into park out won't turn over/start. Is there a sensor or just a linkage issue?

Also thinking about a 68rfe trans. swap. Possible?

Welcome to DF!

There is a neutral safety switch on the trans, right below where the linkage connects. I think it's a 3 pin connector?

Will the truck start in neutral? If it will, might just be a linkage adjustment.

It will start in neutral it also starts in park some times. So it's a linkage adjustment it needs. Sweet. Thanks much.

Now do you know if the 68rfe transmission will be able to be swaped right over? Read a few things but couldn't tell. I already get 17mpg at 72 mpg but extra gears would be nice.

Nope. It won't bolt to the engine, and the PCM would have no clue how to run it.
