Just want someone to verify or correct me
Neighbor bought a 2000 2500 and has a utility bed. Long story short the guys who did the work used speaker wire directly to the tail lights from the pedal. I'm going to put new lights and a hookup for towing a trailer. I've cut the harness and found 6 wires and have traced them to what I think is...
BLACK - GROUND
BLACK/YELLOW - TAIL/RUNNING LIGHTS
BROWN/RED - LEFT TURN
GREEEN/YELLOW - RIGHT
PURPLE/BLACK - REVERSE
WHITE/TAN - ??? (Capped from the factory?)
Just wondering if someone who might already know verify or correct me. I'm guessing the brake signal is also sent with the turn signal wire?? Also not sure what to do about the white/tan wire. It appears to be capped from the factory. Thanks in advance guys.
