Just and update that after I was scammed by the POS "Dodgeindy96" here on the forum I got all of my money back after reporting the scam to Googlewallet. Glad that there was some form of protection with the "sale".

Just a heads up "Dodgeindy96" is not who he says he is, and for anyone on the other forums please warn people about him. He was trying the same scam over there. The guy knows his motors and that was what got me so convinced to buy from him.

 

That's awesome. That's great there was protection, usually company's like PayPal and such won't honor that if your sending someone who's private, money. Usually they will only do it with like PayPal. Having that much money on the line is not fun to deal with. Glad you got it back. And thanks for the heads up!

I guess that there are some upsides to google (eBay, PayPal, Apple, the guy down the street, etc) having all of your info.

 

speak to the forum moderators. Scammers should be banned.

 

Is he banned off the sights he is scamming? If not he should be. Did you contact the moderators about this issue?

 

As I understand it, the real guy hasn't been on the forum for years. Someone else used his handle. THAT should be a moderator issue, once a name is used, it's done. Unless his accounts were hacked. Of course, that will only help so much...

 

He registered with a different name, and email address as the "real" member. And yes, he has indeed been banned from here. I took care of it personally.
