Default 01 Dodge Ram Pan Intake Manifold

I'm replacing the plenum gasket on my 01 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 360 and I can't for the life of me find the actual intake manifold part. I found one online but they don't have the actual one for MY truck. Help where do I get this item I would prefer to buy new and not have to search junk yards.

Hughes sells the Plenum plate.... No need to replace the entire intake. Shorter bolts, and a better gasket seems to be all you really need though....

See I call it a plenum plate and people act like they don't know what I'm talking about 😐 Pretty much my plenum gasket is busted I have oil all in my intake and I'm replacing that today but I was told the cause of that is the plenum plate comes steel. And the intake is aluminum. So I was told that is the reason this issue happens to my truck...so I'm shopping to find an aluminum plenum plate.

If you want aluminum, then you want Hughes. I have seen some on eBay, but it's not something any auto parts store would stock. The dealer MAY stock the stock steel one.

In all reality, the theory that the different metals are responsible for the gasket going bad, isn't accurate. The difference in expansion between the manifold, and the plate, is measured in thousandths of an inch.... Well within the tolerance of the gasket. (if it was a good one anyway. ) A bit shorter bolts, and a good quality gasket, and the problem is solved.

While the above is true, I opted to make double-dog sure and went with the Hughes.

I did too then not too long after that I opted for triple-dog sure and went with the Hughes Airgap, no gasket means no chance of a gasket leak.
