Default NP231 Question
A friend has a 94 cherokee he's parting out with a NP231. I have a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 with a bad NP231 tcase. Would I be able to use the cherokee's np231 in the dodge?

Probably. Worst case, you could swap parts between the two, to make one good one. You will want to verify things like input spline count/size, and the same on the output shaft.
