Default engine swap
new to this forum was wondering if any one could tell me if a motor out of a 97 dodge dakota which is a 5.2l if it will work in my 2001 dodge ram 1500 with out changing anything

Is the 1500 a 5.2 also? Both autos or manual? (The PCM will need to know what to do with what)

Think I would swap the intake just on general principles. (including throttle body) That way, you are sure at least those sensors will be correct.
