I drive a 97 dage ram 1500 5.9 with 4 wd Going down the road and then i lost powersteering can barely turn the wheel but i found a broken clamp with a rod welded onto it looks like it is supose to go onto tie rod adjustment sleeve any ideaa
is this the problem or could it be something else ?
That is a "keeper." It goes into the opening (the jaw opening, if you will) on the clamp for the drag link adjustment. It keeps it from turning, loosening or tightening.

so this couldnt be the reason i loss steering any idea or should i just start by replacing the steering gearbox which has been leaking for a while
Yeah but im pretty sure the pumps good no noises and i removed the high pressure hoses from the gear box and it waspushing it pretty good my gear box was going bad so im going to start with replacing that any ways
Pull the serpentine belt off, and try and pull the pulley straight forward from the p/s pump. Mine sheered off the shaft... everything stayed in play, and under no-load conditions, it actually worked, but, trying to drive it? Holy crap, you better have some SERIOUS arm muscles.
