I don't have a tuner but I didn't think I needed one.
My original axles were 3.55, the current ones are 3.7? the new ones are 4.10.

On the 98 and up trucks, gear ratio doesn't matter, as the sensor reads off the diff, which is after the gears, only tire size change requires reprogramming.
