Default Parts in transmission pan..

I'd like anyone's opinion on what these may be...found in pan after dropping pan for an oil/filter change. 47re Bd Diesel full billet performance trans installed over 10 yrs and 140,000 miles ago so I can't complain. My research suggest a snap ring from the direct clutch /overdrive unit. Trans seems to shift fine, just want resolve and fix NOW before a catastrophe occurs!...Bd does not have any more info on this trans even in archives due to it's age...Parts in transmission pan..-98clutchparts-265-000-march2017.png

The 2nd pic is shavings....but...there are 2 separate/ 2 different material rings there, are they both of the same nature of the snap ring?

Do you know what both those rings are by chance?

The thinner pieces are the snap ring. I suspect the larger pieces are part of the clutch pack..... I think it's time to rebuild the O/D unit.......
