tv cable removal from trans

Default tv cable removal from trans

tried searching cant find answer trying to remove tv cable from trans and cant seem to figure it out i loosened what looks like a pinch bolt but cant seem to get it to come off what am i missing thanks

Where are you trying to disconnect it from, that is giving you trouble?

Strangely enough... I can't find anything in the service manual about R&R for the cable.... Adjustment, yes, but not changing it....

If its anything like a GM 700R4 you have to drop the pan and disconnect the end of the cable from whatever it attaches to.

ya i looked thru the service manual too didnt see anything so i guess my best bet is to disconect it from tb and leave it connected to the trans

It should just hook to a lever on the outside of the trans? It *should* come off without too much trouble.....

update on this issue also the tv cable does in fact just pull off of the trans linkage could not tell until i looked at the doner truck from the top was easy lol
