Default 2000 ram 1500 5.9 warm no start

2000 ram 1500 5.9 starts when cold but idles rough. When it's warm it won't start at all. Over the past month I had noticed it was running a little rough, threw an 02 sensor code, I reset it. The other day I was started it and it was running really rough. Drove it about 50 yards and it died, started back up limped it around till it warmed up then wouldn't start back. Set for about 30 min, started back up. Won't Rev past 3000 rpm. 166,000 miles 3rd owner. No codes in system now. Adding fuel to the TB didn't help with starting. Exhaust seems to be abnormally hot. Possible 02 sensor leaning truck out? Thanks

Unplug the O2 sensors, and see if it makes any difference.

You probably already have a clogged cat..... need to check the intake as well. Blown plenum gasket will eat the cat for lunch.

Welcome to DF.

How many miles are on the clock? Plenum been repaired yet? Pull the O2 sensor out of the exhaust pipe, disconnect it from the harness and go for a drive. What does it do, besides setting a code for the O2 sensor?

Dang, missed it by that much...

Ok unplugged both 02 sensors, started and idled better, let it warm up, upon hard throttle it revs but sounds as if it's flooding out at 3000 rpm, slow Rev and it will go to recline. 166000 miles unknown maintenance record. No abnormal oil use that I have seen. I'll let it cool off and pull sensors out, and try again.

Ok no change when removed so I plugged everything back up, no change. Still no cell. I did seafoam the fuel tank yesterday when it wouldn't start. Chances of water in gas? Fuel filter? It bogs under hard throttle while sitting still, driving I can't really tell.

Try removing the front O2 sensor from the cat altogether. Unplug it, and just toss it on the floor of the truck for the moment. Go for a ride. Run any better?
