On board air for 2nd gen 318?
I've been researching OBA for my rig. Double beadlock tires and rims are a lot of work for never airing them down for lack of compressed air!! I looked into several methods and like engine driven setups for their speed and constant duty cycle. The York 210 looks cheapest and most promising. I did a search, and came up with threads from many discussion boards, similar to this:

The problem is the threads are old and the company that made the brackets I wanted to use no longer makes them or offers any info on making them myself. Plumbing and wiring the system is no problem. What I lack is a starting point for the mounting bracket, be it a template or some OEM bracket to modify. As of now, I plan on mimicking the above setup, running the compressor from a modified alternator pulley. But I'm open to suggestions!! Thanks!

You could copy someone elses design...... Mock up the brackets using cardboard first, to get a basic idea, then maybe cut 'em out of some cheap plywood, to verify it will work. THEN cut them out of metal......
Another option might be to look at older jeeps/dodge trucks, as I think they used the york compressors for the a/c.

Theres still working pics of brackets in this thread http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/dodge...board-air.html
The guy with the designs on Pirate was last active back in February. Might not hurt to PM him, see if he has any brackets available, or, get a copy of his design. Would save a bunch of work.
