Default 01 1500 stall issue

I have an 01 ram 1500 5.9. It runs fine in park and nuetral, but as soon as you put it in any gear it dies. I have cleaned the throttle body and the iac motor. I am at a loss as to what it would be. I have also had some issues with the truck not wanting to shift. I have replace both the silinod and sensor in transmission already too. Thanks

Can you keep the engine running if you feather the gas? Do you feel it jerk when it dies? (like dumping the clutch in a manual trans car?)

Welcome to DF!

Some folks have solved that one by replacing the crank sensor. Why it works, I have not a clue... but, it does. Get one from the dealer. Yes, they are more expensive, but, they actually work the way the PCM expects. More than I can say for some of the aftermarket fellers.

I replaced the crank sensor. Is there anything else that might cause this issue. Thanks
