SO pick one up and the radiator should be about the same heat all the way across?

Further you get from the inlet, the cooler it should be. If you have spots that are signifcantly colder than the surrounding areas, that's bad, and indicates tubes that aren't helping you at all.

Well i got around to looking at it today, I can only really test what I can get the lazer in because of the ac condensar, but anyway, here are some pictures of the 2 sides.

That's the temp when idling. It rises to about 230 on the highway.

It is also slightly warm on the radiator on the passenger side 1/4, or even 1/2, so I'm guessing this may be my problem, but I'm not sure. It's to the point where I can keep my hand on it and it won't burn. The drive side, will burn my hand though.

What do you guys think?

Had something go wrong with my original purchase and then I just bought. Regular plastic end take one. After install I refilled the cooling system, burped it, and she still runs hot. Not as bad as before, but will sit at a constant 215 rolling 70 down the highway. And in town it will fluctuate, and if I get on it will either drop down or increase depending on the conditions. I'm at a loss, unless somehow I got a 210 thermostat instead of a 195 from the guy at the parts desk I'm not sure why it's running hot.

Plug a scanner into it, and see what temp the PCM thinks the engine is. The gauge in the dash is not the most accurate thing in the world.... Even with a 195 degree stat in mine, the gauge always sat just a bit above 200.
