Wish I had my Ram
I just got back from 3 weeks in Alaska. Wish I had my Ram while I was there. My rental was a Ford Exploder. What a POS. It was terrible in the snow and on trails, and had very poor power. Here's a few pics for you all. The temp reading came off the dash readout on the Ford.

My uncle went up to Alaska for some halibut fishing and sightseeing and had a blast. Those are some awsome shots! Wish I could go some day. But anywho..I fixed one of those pics.

Nice one.
There was another night when I didn't have my camera that it was -33. On average, it was about 0 to -15 during the day. It was -14 when I was snowmobiling in that one pic. Thank goodness for heated hand grips.

Cool pics Silver_Dodge! My wife and I keep talking about taking a trip to Alaska. It seem slike it could be fun for a few days. Although I sure do love a cold beer on a warm beach too!![sm=icon_guiness.gif]

I was up in alaska in 2000 for the USAF. It awesome up there. All that beauty comes at a price of freezing your buns off in the winter and crazy daylight hours. I am hoping to go from germay to alaska next year to live. I have it on what we call a dream sheet. (A list of where you would like to be assigned for the military) Your pictures reminded me of how much I miss the place. Very nice pictures by the way. I never did get to see the pipeline when I was there. Now I know what it looks like. Thanks for posting them. I'll add a few to this post when I get home from work. I have some nice ones too.

My eldest son is on his way to the big white at the end of this month for the USAF maybe you will run into him but be ware he drives one of those chevy things. You bring your kids up but just can't teach them good taste.

great pictures dude. I hope you had a fun time in alaska. Did your Ford have a 4.6 or a 4.0 V6? Also, it doesn't help any that most rentals are 2WD anyway.
