Default 1997 Dodge Ram 1500: Replaced the Govenor Solenoid light came back

Hey about a month ago my truck was having a hard time shifting out of second eventually my check engine light came on. The code read it was the govenor pressure sensor/solenoid. Dropped the pan replaced the solenoid/sensor and the filter. Everything was fine, she was shifting fine and aside from a loud noise when I was accelerating downhill it seemed to be the best my truck ever ran.

Then about two weeks after swapping the solenoid the truck seemed like it wasn't able to shift as cleanly, and the next day the check engine light came on, with the same exact code as before. I was told something may be killing the sensor, but I have no idea, any help would be much appreciated I don't want to drop the pan again if I don't have to, or go through another 80$ on the solenoid and sensor and another 30$ on the fluid and gasket only for the light to come back on.

Specs: 1997 dodge ram 1500 5.2L Sport edition

The sensor and solenoid are two different items. Did you replace both? What brand did you buy?

Yes I am aware of that, I replaced both the solenoid and the sensor. Aswell as the filter while I had the pan down. I bought this exact solenoid and sensor http://www.ebay.com/itm/Borg-Warner-...72.m2749.l2649

Those are the correct parts. Think I would have a look at the wiring. Pressure sensor gets its power from the PCM, so, check connections first.
