so I noticed my truck was shifting a bit rough in lower gears (mostly 1sr to 2nd) so I went to change the fluid in the pan and found these three pieces sitting in my pan. No idea what they are or where they go
the metal posts appear to be shearaed off on the ends and one is visibally broken on one end. As for the small barrel(?) it feels light for its size. Is not magnetic and is very slightly thinner at the ends. Any help would be very much so appreciated
Are you sure?? It's just the spring retainer that broke. I know I have to rip apart the trans. Would love to avoid purchasing a full rebuild for such a small part
No, but, I am fairly confident. If that roller in your pick is from one of the one-way clutches, it's only a matter of time before you get a serious failure, and grenade the trans.
