Default V10 Tow Rating

I'm trying to find out the tow rating for my 1996 V10 RAM, quad cab, long bed, 4wd. Anybody out there know?

Should be a label on the drivers door frame with that information.

it only says the GVWR at 8800lbs

Should be a GCWR on there as well.

Trying to google the information, and I simply can't find it. None of the towing sites allow you to select which engine, so, they all show the 5.2.... Which I don't think even came in the 3/4 and 1 ton trucks..... Call the dealer? Or the mopar help line? Build sheet might show it as well.

Default Close as I could find online

close as I could find online was a 1999 2500 4wd, v10 at 13,200# tow rating, seems high

My 1999 owners manual says 13,000lbs for a v10 4wd quad cab. Not high at all considering a equally equipped new 2500 with a 6.4l is in the 15,000-17,000 depending on gearing. Remember 450ft lbs of torque. If I remember right the cummins didn't get that tow rating until the HO in 2001...........

Well I'm sold 13,000ish it is. Will tow the 5th wheel I'm looking at. Thanks guys...good talk
