Default 2000 ram tranny issues

Ok so I have a 2000 ram 1500 sport off road edition recently had tranny problems start at first it just struggled with overdrive then locked into first replaced speed sensor no it has all gears but shifts threw them by 45 mph and seems sluggish does it sound more like tourque converter or actual tranny?

Default 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 only shifts into OD after like 20 minutes drive time

ever heard of any issues like this? I'm stumped The truck shifts through all the gears just fine except for overdrive and less you have been driving for about 20 minutes or so with and it will finally engage once it does it works fine overdrive button works on and off shut the truck off and then start it and it's all over the same thing again drive another 20 miles until it works

Sounds like your trans is working fine. When is the last time the engine got a tune up? How old are the O2 sensors? Fixed the plenum yet?

What's the outside temp when you start driving? Seems like the pcm thinks the trans is too cold to shift till the temp gets up enough. That would indicate a bad governor pressure sennsor.
