Default need help with rust

Hello everyone I am new here this is my first truck which is a 1998 dodge ram 1500. Im having an issue with some rust on it. the main frame doesn't seem to be too bad it's just the parts that connect the body to the frame that are horrible. I was told that I need a new frame so I wanted to see what everyone had to say first. I enclosed a photo of the part and I was wondering if I can get a replacement part or have someone wield something together or am I out of luck thanks

The frame side mounts like fine, if a bit crusty, it's the body side that need to be replaced.

They can be replaced, if you can find them...... I *think* some folks still produce them, but, I don't recall just who. (google should be able to find them.) New ones will need to be welded to the body.

Not really a safety issue till things start getting REAL bad. Might want to just look for a cab in better condition, and swap it out. You would need a 98-01 cab, earlier models are too different to work. (up to 02 if you get a cab from a 2500, or 3500.) Swapping cabs is a pretty serious undertaking though, so, keep that in mind too.

Body mount. But, you will need to specify that you want the part that welds to the body, not the hockey puck between body and frame.
