Default Axle seal help

Hi guys.
I'm having trouble finding a front Right/pass side axle seal that will be 100% correct. I've looked at rockauto AutoZone Napa and mopar parts and there are 10,000 seals witch one is correct.

My info is
01 dodge ram 2500 5.9l v8 4x4 automatic. extended Cab

I haven't torn into the job yet because I'm using this truck to help with a remodel on my old house. And can't have it down just yet. I'm just trying to get all my parts together so I can knock it out fast when time allows.

Ooops, I saw the right/passenger, but, totally missed the "front".

Edit: Link removed, wrong part.

Keep in mind that the axle seals on Dana axles install from the inside of the housing, not the outside like the rear Chrysler 9.25 axle.

- To install the front left (driver side) you have to pull the axles and carrier out of the housing.

- to install the front right (pass. side) you only have to pull the right outer axle and vacuum disconnect unit. I believe it's the called the CAD. then you have to make or purchase a puller to pull the seal into place in the axle tube.

Not sure if you were aware of this or not? It really sounds a lot worse than it is depending on your mechanical abilities.

Yeah I've done it once before on a 1500 years ago I'm sure I'll figure out a way to do it if not I found a tool that will do it

Yes, I believe the Dana 60 and Dana 44 use different seals. You will need to determine which differential you have.

As your truck is a 1500, you have the D44.

There should be numbers stamped into one of the axle tubes. You can decode your axle with that. (at Dana's site.)
