I'm buying a lift this summer too and I always here SJ is much better. But like you said, never heard any real reasons people hate Fabtech. But I do trust the people on here and will be going with the SJ most likely. Its a bit cheaper too even after buying shocks.

I'd also go with Skyjacker.


I have 4.10 gears and 33"s with the 3" Skyjacker and get around 10mpg around town.

I personally do not have a Whiplash kit...but I will in the near future.
I do have a couple friends with them and haven't heard a bad word about them.

i have a 5.5 inch BDS lift on my truck...seems to be holding up well and all the parts that came w/ it were pretty bulky...its not skyjacker or fabtech but if u were interested in lookin else wheres ...
