Default double cardon ball joint install issue

hi i posted a different post earlier for my 2000 dodge ram 1500 when doing the tranny and had a video sent about installing the double cardion center ball joint.. and i couldnt get the seal in.. took to mr transmission and they couldnt get seal in

so here is video i bought a new one i show how i installed it.. the lip on bottom and ring at the top... and my idea is to save me 65 bucks again i take out all the needle bearings pop ball out and get the ring out and then some how press ball back in the ring as its not going in.. anyone ever have this issue.. and im sure i installed right

I suspect that since you can't get the ball pressed further, you will need to remove it and determine how the metal portion is configured on the inside to determine the orientation as to how the ball should be pressed in. Wish I could assist further, but I have not done one of these before.

When my front driveshaft got old and ragged, I ordered a complete new one from these folks - http://www.driveshaftspecialist.com/ They got a brand new shaft to my door cheaper and with better quality than anywhere I could find locally.

I took mine to a local shop, and had THEM rebuild it.

Might want to ask this question to the folks over at Bleepin jeep as noted in the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQl6...ature=youtu.be) I posted on your earlier post on this subject. Early in the video they talked about ways to contact them.
