Yes HATE diesel with a passion lol I would buy every diesel on the planet and junk them. Can't with the factory 24V and 5spd manual in the bed, the kid swapped it with the 12V and automatic

So what's it like being the only person left from your planet? Ever get lonely?

No there are some people here with me I know and we have a pretty good time. After my 08 Cummins froze over even when plugged in I vowed to never buy a diesel again

for the OP, the clunk could very well be the trac bar. Have someone steer the truck left to right while you are under the front. be sure to hold the trac bar near the ends while the vehicle is steered. Usual a slight clunk can be felt while holding the part. This works for the drag link and tie rods too. Hold the parts near the suspected offending joints. Sometime they look fine while watching them turn but holding the bar will allow you to feel the bind and resulting clunk. Just my 2 cents.
Also, if you still have the factory trac bar, trash it and buy an aftermarket adjustable one with quality rod end joints/bushings on both ends. Even if the stock bar checks out a new quality bar will make a world of difference in the handling of your truck!
Good luck!

Everything under the front end is brand new (changed everything 2) I mean everything is top of the line new except the access and gears in the diff

Did the problem start after you replaced the parts or did you replace the parts trying to solve the issue? Might be a good idea to go through and tighten everything down again. Axle side trac bar bolt needs to be super tight!
Also, the swap to 1500 axles means the bolt sizes could be different on the control arms. Remove and check bolt diameters against hole sizes in the axle side control arm mounts and check the sleeve diameters in the control arm bushings. If the bolts are undersized, the control arms will wobble regardless of how tight you make them.
Good luck!

Replaced parts because they were bad and had a clunk. I did check the control arms bolts they are good not undersized. Axle side track bar bolt is pretty tight (I would say around 180-210 ft lbs). I did check everything I could find everything is good. I may need longer shocks, as I have a 3in leveling kit. May need longer control arms to. I just wish I could put a camera under there while driving to see if I could see the clunk lol

If you have 3" leveler and stock parts, I'd say just a 'clunk' is doing well.

Well they are Moog products now but it's 3in leveling kit (when I bought it website said it was 2in). I am in the process of designing my own lift kit for this truck so it will stay like this under I get my axles
