Default 99 ram stereo

Alright. What tells me for sure weather or not my stock stereo system is the base one or infinity? My truck is a 99 ram 1500 club cab. Still has the stock radio. It has the tweeters stock in the A-pillars. 1 tweeter is out, both front door speakers, and now 1 rear speaker is getting crackly so it's time to replace them all. So here are my questions:

1. Is the tweeter in the a-pillar a 100% yes to having the infinity system?

2. What are the speaker sizes in the front and rear doors? I know the tweeters are 1".
- seems I find a lot of different things after searching around. Crutchfield says my truck should have a 5.25 front door speaker and 6.5 rear door.

Should say "Infinity" on your head unit, I think.....

Or, pull the door panel, and have a look at the speaker. If there is an amp mounted on it, you have the Infinity system.

Ok, I didn't see infinity on the radio that's why I ask, but I also rarely see other trucks with the tweeters in the a-pillars.

I suppose if I just quit being lazy for a little bit and pop off a door panel I will know the right size.

Mine has the tweeters there as well...... but, I don't *think* I have the infinity system. I don't recall seeing it on the build sheet at any rate...... But, I think I have turned the radio on maybe twice since I owned it....

My truck and my durango (both are 99s) have infinity systems and it says it on the bottom of the face of the tweeters. In fact they were like that in the 3rd gens as well.

Remove the pillar, and disconnect. There will be a label on the wiring..

Infinity systems were 6 speaker. I just replaced mine.
