Default PCM swap, Truck won't start

Hi,

I just changed my pcm this week-end on my 3500 2001 cummins.

( same part number , pcm was running good in the other truck )

Now my truck won't start ( engine run 3-4 second, and stop )

what should be the problem ?

Do I need a reflash ?

thank you

Did the other truck have the Sentry Key system by any chance?

I can't recall if that system is programmed into the PCM or a separate body control module, but it certainly sounds exactly like what my Durango does when the system doesn't recognize the key. Just a thought - take it for what it's worth.
