p0720 a/t low output speed sensor

1999 dodge/ram truck ram 3500 van 8 cylinder 360/05900 z 5.9 fi ohv . my van is making a sound like the valve is clanking whenever it is accelerating,especially going up a hill under strain.also burning oil.
