Need some help here, I did a nearly complete brake job about 3 MO ago, (drums rotors pads shoes bearings etc) now after towing my camp trailer about 200 MI the brakes are pulsing rather severely. I found I had a over adjusted (dragging)rear brake. after fixing it the brakes are still pulsing hard at high speed.did I warp the drums or rotors.
Possible. You can figure out which end by driving along slowly, and gently apply the ebrake. Does it shake? If it does, drums are warped, if it doesn't, apply the service brake. (pedal...) Does it shake? If it does, rotors are warped.
I have seen problems like this when the shoes are a bit too tight.... the drum heats up, and eventually will warp, and you get the vibration. (sometimes, even when you AREN'T on the brake......) Let it cool off, and the problem goes away, till you drive a ways again.
