Default Help -Gear Ratio

So I got a question! I am trying too figure out the gear ratio for the front axel for a 1998.5 3500 cummins 4x4. The parts sticker under the hood of the truck has been ripped off. The truck has 143,262 miles and at 70 MPH the RPMS range from 2300-2500! I've been looking on Google and it said that for 1997-2001 dodge 3500 Cummins have a Dana 60 for the front axels because of the 4x4. The GAWR is 4850. Can anyone please help me

Go here, and get a build sheet for your truck. That will tell you what axle ratio it came with from the factory.

Welcome to DF!

Nope. VIN numbers have nothing to do with it. Grab the build sheet, that is actually accurate information. (assuming nothing was changed after purchase....)
