Default Head light assembly replacement

I managed to get old head light assembly out, but can not get new assembly in. I have a 1998 Ram 1500, SLT. How do I get new in place?

If it isn't fitting between the fender and the bumper, just loosen the bumper enough to let it sag down. After the lights are in you can use a jack and some wood to hold the bumper back up while you tighten it down.

if you're doing the whole thing like i just did [headlight and corner light entire assembly, i did the sport conversion] it's fidgety... there are 3 alignment pins, 2 are plastic and 1 is metal. the metal one kinda ratchets into it's hole and will hold the entire thing in just like the pins on the taillights... that was the pin i had a hard time lining up. also, dropping the bumper made life sooooo much easier.
